Veestro was founded by Mark and Monica, a brother and sister who grew up in Costa Rica surrounded by family, friends, and many home-cooked meals. When the pair traveled to the U.S. for college, they struggled to make healthy food choices. Frustrated with frozen food options at the grocery store, they decided to join forces with a world-class gourmet vegetarian chef whose culinary style was inspired by fresh cuisines from across the globe. After that, Veestro was born, offering a line of wholesome frozen food that fit into their commitment of plant-based nutrition. They believe that everyone should have access to healthy, affordable, delicious vegan food no matter where they live or how jam-packed their schedules.
